3D printed face shield

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, it has become important that we keep ourselves safe. The prominent thing is to have limited physical contact with people as well as things. Since this virus can enter the system through eyes, nose or mouth, we need to protect it. The mask covers yours nose and mouth, and the disposable masks are to be disposed off in 6-8 hours of use.

To increase its lifetime, people have come up with face shields, which cover up the whole face covering the eyes and neck as well. The face shield is an open source idea which has been implemented by a lot of companies/individuals in 3D printing. They have fired up their printers to support the healthcare people, armed forces and others who are outside fighting the pandemic. The effort is now community driven and it is happening all across the world.

The 3D printed face shield has an easy design, approximately takes 20 minutes to print. It is easy to wear around the head. It grips around the back of your head. You can acquire the design from any of the open source developer and print it at your place. In case you need such shields, you can contact to one of the manufacturers.
